The image on the screen tells you the data that is buffering to the cutter. The blade moves as that data is processed. I am no techie on this, but it seems like it is not significant that what you see

To export anything from the MTC screen, you must first select all or the portion of the design that you wish to export. Use Ctrl+A to select all. If nothing is selected, then most likely the design is

Download the files to your computer, and extract all. Then you can open them in Make The Cut software or Import into Sure Cuts A Lot5. You will not be able to import the individual files into the MTC

Check to make sure you are not using SCAL4. Go to Help>About Sure Cuts A Lot. It will tell you the version you are using. If you are using SCAL4 you can upgrade to SCAL5 for a small fee. Julie
