I wouldn't make them any smaller than card size, as they are very intricate. If you have a laser cutting machine, you could cut any of the designs in any size you like.

The weekly MTC/PCS Q&A webinars did last about 2 hours each. You can access the links for all of these webinars between 2010 and 2016 here:
 
You had to download the earlier ones to view them. They switched to Vimeo in 2011. You don't have to download those, and many of them have topical time stamps in the comments under More, under the videos. These are very helpful when you are looking for specific help.

To export anything from the MTC screen, you must first select all or the portion of the design that you wish to export. Use Ctrl+A to select all. Ok, so when I go into MTC gallery and download a design from there, it goes straight to MTC screen.  I cannot export it anywhere other than that.   I am including attachments of pictures of what I am doing and what I get.

you are in for some great free cutter files. There are thousands upon thousands of FREE designs. Her most recent additions are  Festive/ Shadows/ Box cards. Right click on the Box cards folder, then click on Download. All the files in that folder will be zipped, and you can download to your computer. Double click the downloaded file and select Extract All. Then import into your favorite cutter software. There are lots of other festive design here. She includes files in MTC and SVG formats.

The pages on the MTC website (www.make-the-cut.com) are all hopelessly outdated. So that bit about the $59.95 or whatever it was, has never been changed or updated since it was put there like 9 years ago. So I guess we can assume it has expired as it appears there is no way to get that pricing.

I also understand that you will be issued an MTC registration code if you purchase now. Do not purchase PCS because that is broken and an MTC code is issued not a PCS one.

The function to deliver your registration key if you lost it is broken, although it may appear that it is working. Testing done by a group of us proves you NEVER get an email.

I agree that it is not right to sell something and then leave the customer high and dry. I think its fraudulent, to be honest. I do not respect the developer for letting this happen, it's not like he has not received MANY, MANY personal emails about it, he chooses not to either read and/or respond. At that point, the only recourse is to start a legal action...costly!

I think most of us have just given up on those points. But we still support as best we can given the limitations.

I am not trying to be unkind  I know he has a family to support but should he not change  his website to reflect the changes  reguarding the purchase of Make the Cut as of now. 

Since I have my key it is not a problem but if you buy it again will you get a key,

Should not the site represent the changes, no key if you lost it etc.   I would hate to be a new customer and find out after I purchased it that nothing on the website tells me that If I lose my key I have to at least buy the program again.

Ok, so when I go into MTC gallery and download a design from there, it goes straight to MTC screen.  I cannot export it anywhere other than that.   I am including attachments of pictures of what I am doing and what I get.

Diana Tunnicliff (AKA Di-lite) contributed over 1000 files to the MTC Gallery. She now posts regularly to her Google drive

you are in for some great free cutter files. There are thousands upon thousands of FREE designs. Her most recent additions are  Festive/ Shadows/ Box cards. Right click on the Box cards folder, then click on Download. All the files in that folder will be zipped, and you can download to your computer. Double click the downloaded file and select Extract All. Then import into your favorite cutter software. There are lots of other festive design here. She includes files in MTC and SVG formats.

Well, I did this and 1 thing showed up but it wouldn't open.  OMG, this is beyond exasperating.

Without actually choosing anything from the list, you can see that MTC files show up in the list. If you were to go down and choose MTC, then you would only see MTC files in the list of files.

Sometimes we have lots of conversations in this group, since we answer group member questions. If you do not like receiving lots of emails from this group, you can make necessary changes in your subscription. To do that, go to the group online at mtc-tuts.groups.io .  On the home page click on Subscription on the upper left side of the screen. The default option when you joined this group was Individual emails.  You can change your subscription any time. The Digest options save the group messages, and send a group of 12 in one email. Another option is to receive just a single email a day as a Daily summary. 

If you don't care to read all of the group messages, but you would like to receive special announcements that I send out, select the Special Notices option. I might send out one special  message in a week or two. This can keep you up to date on what is happening in our cutter community, without having to wade through a lot of email.

Another option is to select No Email. You will no longer receive group email with this option, but you can still sign in to the group online to access files, tutorials, messages, etc. You will never receive special announcements or any other group messages via email with this option.

If you don't need anything from this group, you can unsubscribe. To do this, find an email message from this group in your email In box, scroll to the bottom of the message, and click on the Unsubscribe link. Allow a few days for the change in your subscription. This will remove you from the group.

I would not export to the Gallery, it has been unstable and things have been lost to it. It is a cloud resource, so it does not exist on your computer and you have no control over it, so save in your own computer in folders you organize yourself.
